WHO WE ARE

At Real Life Dog Training, our goal is to empower dog owners to foster a fulfilling and harmonious relationship with their canine companions. We focus on educating owners about dog psychology, enabling them to understand their dogs’ behavior, interpret their needs, and respond appropriately. The greatest affirmation of our mission is when clients express how our guidance has transformed their understanding of dogs, allowing them to live their best life alongside their furry friends.

Wade

Wade established the company in 2019, marking the beginning of his journey as a dog walker. With a background in preschool education, he initially took up dog walking as a side job. He quickly earned a reputation for successfully managing large, aggressive, and reactive dogs. Recognizing the need for improved control and understanding, he began assisting his clients with behavioral challenges. This experience inspired him to leverage his teaching skills to enhance the relationships between humans and their dogs.

Anna

Anna, originally from Kentucky, has devoted her career to working with dogs. Her background encompasses positions at the Kentucky Humane Society and various daycare and boarding facilities, managing her boarding and pet care business, and successfully providing a harmonious environment for 8-10 dogs simultaneously. In 2021, Anna met Wade and decided to further her journey by expanding her relationship and collaborating on a new business venture in Minnesota.

Callie

Callie, a former third-grade teacher, became a client of Real Life Dog Training primarily to address the reactivity of her pitbull, Vegas. Through this experience, she discovered a newfound passion for dog training. In 2023, she decided to redirect her enthusiasm for teaching towards this area and joined the team at Real Life Dog Training. Now, she serves as a full-time trainer and pack walker for the company.

Sadie, our 16-year-old miniature Australian Shepherd, was adopted by Anna at the age of four from a homeless woman. True to her nature as a people’s dog, she shows no signs of wanting to retire from her role of herding the dogs in our backyard.

Bodhi, our four-year-old Labrador and the embodiment of Real Life, joined us in 2021 after experiencing a challenging journey. Having struggled with self-regulation, he had been passed through five different homes before finding his way to Wade. Bodhi has imparted invaluable lessons to us and continues to play a crucial role in the rehabilitation of other dogs.

Sunday, our one-year-old mini Aussie, is Anna and Wade's first dog together. She thrives on any task assigned to her and enjoys spending time outdoors, accompanying everyone around.
